Als tip voor Bluesky: jullie kunnen een "content warning" aan de afbeeldingen hangen zodat men moet drukken alvorens ze de foto's zien, met het knopje "🛡️ Labels"

We have had a new frequent guest at the feeder on our balcony lately 🐦

Haha, damn! Interesting experiment though. I have a 25 min timer for Bluesky 🙃 but I'm pretty OK about it.

Though perhaps that's because I know the timer exists. Perhaps I would go wild without it too 😬

Instagram I deleted a few years ago.

And lastly, I played Pocketwatch Games' Monaco 2, which was a real treat. I was a bit on the fence about the new perspective and style, but it has really maintained the charm that I love from the first game. The first missions are pretty basic but the third one already shows a great chaotic sandbox!

I also played Jitter -- like with Highrook, these were games where it was harder to guess how they played exactly, without actually playing it, so they are great games for the demo medium.

I really enjoyed this; it's physics-based flying around with fun modular destruction, with puzzle gameplay.

Next I played @punkcake.club's Hot Wax, which was... just as addictive as I would have imagined! I really liked Shotgun King and this brings the same snappy vibes, but with a very well-executed take on Tetris.

Inspired by some posts here, I managed to squeeze in some time with Steam demos this week! I first played The Horror at Highrook. It looks super atmospheric, I have to say that the board game inspired mechanics didn't click fully with me yet, but I will certainly keep an eye on it.

The new Mozart hit is dropping soon guys!!

I understand the mathematical reason, because the maximum values are different, but I guess the other two bars should have a big grey part on the right end?

But that wouldn't look as humble.

Is this just very confusing UI (or a bug) from @humblebundle.com? It's very misleading, on top of their minimum cut already being a hefty 31%.

I wasn't expected to be tempted by this today :')

Just played the first dungeon of @postmarkgames.bsky.social's 52 Realms. It's a nice clever game and I will take any excuse to dust off my favourite playing cards!

PicoCAD is now on Steam! I really enjoyed playing around with it, I used it to make my trusty duck avatar.

Perfect coincidence haha

I have been crazily engrossed in Rain World over the last few weeks. It scratches so many of the itches that I can put into words now!

I have always been very interested in AI behaviours dynamically interacting, and that's basically the core of Rain World, in the shape of a tricky platformer!

I did not expect the announcement of Alien: Isolation's sequel to be in the email harmlessly titled "ALIEN: ISOLATION: Ten Year Anniversary"

but YES!!!

It's the second birthday of Isonzo today. I'm still immensely proud to have worked on this game from (close to) start to beyond the release, with a great line-up of post-release content that is still going strong. Happy birthday, Isonzo! May your CCU stay strong 🫡

Sure, but that change explains the leap from 1990 to 2007. We definitely improved workflows 1000% since then again, but I think modern graphics standards make up for that and then some.

AAA games can't get eyelash tech from the asset store, yet gamers for some reason demand they look good.

Reminds me of my favourite D10, which I adore but for some reason is very triggering for some!

OSM is ze voor, of niet? Ik ben niet heel bekend met het resultaat op de kaart (vooral met de conceptrenders haha) maar Julianaplein en de nieuwe tunnel bij "Zuiderplantsoen" lijken hier geüpdatet

Very honoured that our baby Isonzo is nominated for two (!) Dutch Game Awards: Best Art and Best Audio!
