Navidrome is the best

But I've taken the opportunity to try and find music outside my confort zone, actually listen to albums from back to front, and curate some of my selection from scratch. I've discovered some great music that I never would. Its refreshing!

I'm self-hosting my music.

I get most of my music from Bandcamp

So far so good! It fundamentally changes how you consume music though. You can't just open someone's playlist, or listen to one generated with recommendations.

Admittedly, Feishin ain't that good yet. I'm thinking of creating a client myself.

But Symfonium is a god send. Customizable to the bone, just works, and super fast. Feels really nice and intuitive to use!

Oh Cloudflares CEO is meh, don't like him. But uh not pro-genocide nasty so far.

I just don't jive with CF for some reason, and don't love the experience either. But they do have good value proposition.

For me it's self-hosting from here on out.

Definitely higher. But worth the investment!

I don't think any other of the major companies have been this vocal about political stances tbh, so should be good.

But I've been more and more anti-SaaS. With self-hosting you're much more in control of everything, including who you're supporting

Jokes aside, the code to use it is super lean. It's amazing, no hard rules or anything to grasp, just straightforward awesomeness
