Learned a lot about planting, reading the words of an 18th century Italian agronomist.
I attached some photos, the larger glossier leaves belong to the pomelos and the smaller duller leaves to the grapefruit.
Or at least what came from the seeds of each, citrus hybridizes easily :D

Long story short, i did research into citrus when i was in university.
It’s now why i have two pomelo plants that are 6 years old and two grapefruit plants that are five years old, i got the urge to challenge myself to see if i could here on the east coast

Okay, this is a question for me, not google 😇
Pomelo is one of the three original citrus varieties from which all others descend.
Pomelo hybridized with sweet orange gives grapefruit yes, but pomelo are much larger, i would say more delicately flavoured, but yeah, just like grapefruit it messes 🪡
