I have a reformer at home and use it all the time. It can be hard work if you want it to be, but it doesn't have to be. It's good for mobility as well as exercise. Don't fear it, let it be your friend.

As much as we think they are being demons, they are just having fun. Our Evie was having great time destroying our board game tonight, stealing the pieces and batting them around. The more upset I got, the more fun she had, and really she was bored, so it's fine.

If it's going to be artificial, wouldn't it be more cost effective to just have it on Zwift or mywhoosh or whatever?

Did two hours of Richmond on zwift this morning. 🤮 I always get off after an hour and walk around for a minute and refresh my snacks. This helps immensely in my experience.

Our Evie always helps me make the bed. It took two hours yesterday because she stomped and grabbed the sheets until I had to stop for risk of tearing them, then she fell asleep on them. Helping is tiring work.

Yeah beyond all of us on blue sky hating it - for all the money invested in it, are companies even effectively monetizing it? How many people are actually paying for AI?

I was just going to go get one of the hundreds that are milling about on the bike paths here. (*I'm just joking people).

fwiw - Regardless of how much a PI may want to take a student, it is often not possible or not responsible to do so. I am not taking anyone else until I can support all current lab members, which is a tall order under this funding climate.

While de-alcoholized wines are disgusting imo, there are now a number of NA wine-like beverages that are pretty good.

Nice! I'm in that range at 600 km, and 8200 m of climbing.

Just fyi - if you get a zwift click you can have virtual shifting so your gearing doesn't matter

I can empathize. It was 32F when I left on my bike ride this morning. I couldn't find my pogies and my fingers almost froze off. Back to Zwift for me.
