I know I'm not supposed to pick favorites, but this one, Doug's cover of Brandolyn Red, and the inner cover of Creep Skrag Creep by Brad McDevitt are my favorite pieces that Goodman has published of mine.

You mean this centerfold? 😉 It’s by @stefanpoag.bsky.social . The day I received my authors copy of the adventure I saw that and said, “ohhhh I need to own that!” I wrote him up and asked if he would ever sell it and he sold me the original! . I love this piece.

This week, Gill Man and I are reading “It’s Alive” by Julian David Stone: A fictionized account of the making of the movie Frankenstein. If you’re into classic monsters and old school Hollywood this will be a recommended read for you.

Watching “Creature Walks Among Us” - (second sequel to Creature From Black Lagoon). Mini review: 1st half of film much better than 2nd. It becomes “Sea Frankenstein”. They remove all of the gloriously fishy features of our beloved Gill Man and put him in pants!

We had to say goodbye to our little man Puffy this week. He had been with the family for 18 years, since my daughters were toddlers. That cat was a best friend and little brother to my girls. There are lots of sad hearts in the house this week Rest easy little Puffy.

Watching The Substance. Loving it so far. It’s like the love child of Cronenberg, Death Becomes Her, Bubba Ho Tep and old David Lee Roth directed music videos.

Just finished Rage. Hadn't read it since high school (or whenever it was first released). I can see why Stephen King let it fall out of print.

Patricia Arquette's fabulous portrayal of Ms. Cobel this season in Severance, with its brilliant mixture of anger, hubris, and vulnerability, has me convinced she should be the next Bond villain!
