I ran sound for Labor in the Park, the festival of labor unions at IX today. First time I’ve seen a labor movement event like this in Charlottesville.

During a work trip to Austin last November, I visited the LBJ Library. In just a few years, our country passed an incredible volume of good legislation. Our country chose better lives for people. Our country chose a Great Society.

Today’s regime is using this as a checklist for laws to rip apart.

It makes me wistful to imagine living in a country with institutional trust levels this high.

Even the tax collectors are ranked #8, with nearly 2/3rds of Swedes saying they trust it.
