Finished a nonfiction book earlier, got through a good bit of my audiobook already, and now I’ll be reading a couple of chapters of this one.

Really enjoyed the first book so I jumped right into the second. Will finish this up today before jumping back to The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow.

I’ve always wanted an annotated copy of this, but I was so nervous to make that first highlight. 🙈 Thankfully the paper seems pretty thick so we’re good. Now I can make my way through without worrying about ruining my signed copy. 🥰

I really did not want to get on my bike earlier & we had other plans before work today. But hubby encouraged me to move some things around so I could meet my cycling goal for the week & stay motivated. I also reached my first weight goal this week so it’s nice to stay on top of things for the week!

I love this book. Mundane humans thrown into a magical world feels so realistic, exactly how I’d picture it if my child were to turn into a magical creature today. The parenting aspect also feels so relatable. Add a little prophecy & we got ourselves a fun time.
