The "other" UK hit by Jona Lewie.

Shame it gets little attention compared to the cavalry!

Used to sing along to this using the alternate title line...

Better than Dannii Minogue 😁

Delightful.

A peaceful easy feeling! ☺️

This song title is what links OMD to Procol Harum, although they were different songs. 😍

A diamond in a career filled with diamonds.

All the way to No 4 in UK in 1993 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yes I agree, although each member sang well.

That was the main reason for The Loife being better than Boyzone imho.

I only know one song by this act. Hopefully, *redacted* will appear alongside 14 other fine tunes starting tomorrow!

The lyrics on this US No 2/UK No 1 seem happy go lucky, but John is singing about hurricanes and destruction.

The arrangement is a sheer joy as this 60s group play their instruments like they were still in the late 50s. They were called Bayou Rock, although equal parts rockabilly too. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Another classy Police track - the guys rarely disappoint e.g. Secret Garden from the same album.

There's something about the musical arrangement of this that makes me giddy.

Think synth and guitar are competing in different time signatures to the drums. Reggae taken to the next level perhaps?

Jangly guitars and a singer with a low soothing voice - what's not to like?

Being a member of the band The Commotions isn't so bad. Among the alternatives include The News, The Disciples of Soul, The Playboy Band - all ok.

The one to draw the line at is being in The Drells.
