I wanna say Team Rocket got drunk in the Japanese version, which would really explain a lot of their dumb decisions. But I checked Bulbapedia, no mention of removing alcohol. My headcanon is those one of those new mini wine boxes.

At what point does Team Rocket realize that moving their hot air balloon a few miles away does not equal a proper getaway? This is like the fifth time in this gen alone where they do this.

One of my personal favorite tropes the Pokèmon anime does is have Team Rocket beef with the region's own villain organization to make it a three way conflict. One of the few things Best Wishes had was a potential war between Team Rocket & Team Plasma that sadly got scrapped due to the 2011 Tsunami.

One thing I haven't mentioned yet is this Tumblr Sexyman-coded presenter here. What is with the key theme? It's like a Batman villain, just needs a name that just happened to fit with his gimmick, like Ken Keyman or something.

Really should finish up the Pokèmon XY anime so I can really go all in with X-Mas season. Sadly, I stopped at my least favorite subplot, Serena's Pokèmon Contest- I mean Contes- I mean showcase. God, she has my favorite Pokèmon in her party & I still can barely muster the energy to care.
