Wrong shape for the UK theatrical. At that time, we were solely all about the horizontal quad posters. (I think I have the UK Streets Of Fire, rolled away somewhere.)

I've never seen it in any theatrical venue in the UK. Video store poster, maybe? I remember there was a separate VHS release in the UK just featuring extended concert "pop videos" of the songs on one cassette, for rental at video stores. Maybe a tie-in for that?

I'd love to see Sting.

Although, preferably with the other two blokes...

They really have no ironic awareness.

Was this a VHS insert?

"Autopens...rollerball!"

An oversight I'm sure will be rectified when they send you a box...

And there's nothing wrong with that.

Dude! Well done!

Is it weird that the one I most envy there, is Barry Manilow?

"Bermuda Triangle" is part of my epic in-the-shower repertoire.

I was so glad I got to spend some time at Abbey Road talking to Jerry Goldsmith one-on-one. It still annoys me that we lost him so young.

The guys from Pixar told us at the time that it was the first public showing of the movie. I think they bent the definition of "public" slightly, as it was shown two weeks before the Toronto International Animation Film Festival. But, still.

Wow. That must've been amazing? How crazy to have been in at the beginning.

I remember being at the World Science-Fiction Convention in Anaheim in 1984, and seeing Pixar publicly show "Andre and Wally B", in a tiny backroom on a projector. It feels bizarre I was there for a piece of movie history.

The producer of this, Keith Cavele, once told me stories about trying to wrangle an insane Dennis Hopper onto set each day.

When I had an office at Paramount, a company "perk" was a freezer cabinet stacked with free Red Bull: as much as you could manage.

I had one container, thought it was filthy stuff, and never drank it ever again. I find that revitalising things that promise you energy don't work for me.

I saw KISS (strangely!) play at Comic Con!

Good detective work!

My perfect night.

How curious!

See, I would have been so there to be your date for ELO (I know all their lyrics).

No, Sir. It is we who are honoured. You contributed memorably to the creative zeitgeist and ongoing gestalt of pop culture memory!

Happy Thanksgiving, Bruce!

On this day, we give thanks to those who write memorable dialogue that stays with us down the decades...
