I live in the south, I am fortunate to have good storage and functional AC. It still gets so humid that my flour sometimes goes bad.
The housing that poor people have here has no AC which means the air is soup. Also, roaches are everywhere here as a fact of life.

I haven't completed broken with Amazon. Some project materials I just don't know where to buy elsewhere. But my way of thinking has changed. Instead of just buying everything from Amazon I go through the materials and source everything I can locally before getting the rest online.

Yep have to adopt western culture by eating pizza, subway sandwiches, lox bagels, tacos, nachos, high tea cucumber sandwiches, English muffins, toast, fancy finger food hors d'oeuvres, etc. Eating with your hands just isn't part of western culture.

I have a relative who got a flash tattoo while visibly drunk 20 years ago. Thankfully theirs is innocent (they would have removed it otherwise)

Inside the US, yes there are laws. However, there are A LOT of sketchy ass tattoo parlors and since the laws are based on a judgement call there's very little enforcement.

Despite trying for over 10 years I have completed a to do list from my phone a handful of times.

Yes! Like with Keycult: wildly expensive but it's basically one guy with wild machinery making artisan keyboards out of super high quality materials. They last forever and are really well made.
I would never pay that much for a keyboard but I respect that someone else might.
