I'm never sure if it comes across how hard I work on my art because I'm sometimes told it looks loose and free etc but I take it rly seriously and if you ask me to do something for you I'll do the best job I possibly can.

Why did I just save them to my desktop instead of backing them up like I do the work I get paid for? Some kind of on purpose devaluation of scary projects so I have an excuse not to see them through? Joke's on me I'm still just gonna redo them

I think ppl would hesitate to say these things about other forms, like you wouldn’t take someone seriously who buts into a conversation like “I don’t care whether you love porn or think it should be illegal, I have a job”. like the issue we’re debating is not whether porn (or fanfic) is good

lol I’m sorry for putting it on your feed when you try so hard to avoid it! yes it’s tiring, but I think often people who post about how much they don’t care are signalling a fundamentally reactionary relationship to art (or at least to fandom)
