Shift augmentation at the processing facility was an orderly affair. Timecards (not jaws) to punch as she passed through the gates. The faulty generator was on the third floor, mineral extraction, but she could have found it without the site schematic. She just had to follow the noise. Traced the three sides and extracted the pin. “I think the last time I got you out of these was at Baileag’s graduation…” Annette flushed, remembering, then laughed. James looked up. “No, it wasn’t,” she qualified, “it was at Sarah McNulty’s wedding. You made out with Cooper from Mechanical after he’d dropped a tab and were high as a kite all evening. You passed out before you’d taken your skirt off.”

Saturday was Halloween, and for a house full of ghosts and witches, they were remarkably quiet about it. Day had no shortage of other invitations, but no desire to attend. She wasn’t interested in hooking up. She wasn’t sure she could stomach saying why, or whether the words to do so were lost somewhere with the errant amount of fucks she had left to give. Instead, she watched re-runs of corny horror shows on repeat, curled up in one spot on the couch with a pair of dollar store cat ears, until her body insisted that a family sized bag of popcorn was not adequate fuel for her misery.

Eilidh's mom is a Cleric of Corellon Larethian, so she was raised in that vein but personally serves something broader/older. As a "blessing baby" she feels that she owes her existence to the gods, and is called to dedicate her life to good.
Gale rubbed at his beard, and noted again the large oak before them. “Forgive the slight segue, but your patron is Silvanus, if I'm not mistaken. Do you know whether Eilidh-” “Worships the Treefather also? Hm. Yes, and no. Our paladin's Oath is to the Ancients. Something deeper than a single god, but embodied in them all, perhaps. I believe her mother is a cleric of Corellon Larethian, though, if you wish to know which high days and holidays she is likely to celebrate.

Tried to find a better example, but the FMC Annette in #ZendariaChronicles spends a vast proportion of the book sweaty, mucky or both.
Annette did not feel lucky. She felt like her skin was a separate layer between her flesh and sweat-damp clothing, part of neither and grating against both. Every inch of her vibrating.

"And I must admit, this is rather intriguing… How does this work, I wonder?" The question was rhetorical, academic. The answer was found in exploration and study. In front of him, Astarion was present, a beautiful display of angles and curves. Cheekbones and curls. Fangs and that little shelf of fat which had begun to gather at the top of his hips.
