I'm not advocating for Newsom to be the nominee for DNC. I'm simply saying Newsom basically saved Democracy with his red-districting move. Halle's selling product. Democracy my friend is more important than any one policy disagreement. You don't know anybody who agrees with you on every issue.

If this is meant for me, I'll say this. I'm a former Republican, but after studying politics for 20 years, I realized they are the bad guys. I will never be the reason we lose, in fact that's what Im fighting against. Dems stay home so easily for any reason allowing Repubs to win w a minority vote.

Yes, I am an economist by training and worked for the Federal Reserve in Atlanta for 6 years. 99% of people actually do not understand government or economics. They just have an opinion which is fine. I'm here to bring clarity to the confusion.

Politics is a blood sport. I don't think you realize that. No candidate will reflect your views/values 100%, period. So you rule them out, stay home, let the wrong ones in. You lose.
