You may have heard that DOGE is dead.

Well @makenakelly.bsky.social and @telliotter.bsky.social are here to show you that's just not true, with many of the same young engineers—including Big Balls—still working at the heart of the US government

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.
I'm so tired of measles.

I'm also tired of people using needle shots on stories like this.

Show what measles looks like.

This is stunningly good reporting by two bylined reporters and six credited researchers, and it's undermined throughout by links to an "Ask the Post AI" that delivers insipid answers to its own contrived prompts under the guise of "More context on this article"

A college student complaining about a grade on a paper is not national news. Not even close. The details have minimal import outside the class itself.

Well-funded political activists targeting profs and TAs—in this case because they're trans—with the help of elected state officials? National issue.

It might be tempting for Spurs fans to look at results and say things started out reasonably well under Frank and then wonder why they quickly fell apart, but the truth is that we were never especially good, just lucky (and energised by change).

Just like under Nuno.

A business news outlet found that Cherney’s daughters benefited from some of Gentile’s earliest dealings.

Everyone is getting upset about the data centers. They pollute a lot and use a lot of energy and will eventually be very ugly/huge vacant buildings. And I understand being mad about that. Until you consider the state of the lazer tag industry at this moment, and how much help that sector needs.

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."
