Shin Megami Tensei II -
It's good, but kind of a lateral move from the first game, story is legitimately great and the challenge is better balanced (until this fucker here).
But the structure's not nearly as tight, drawing on the messier, bloatier aspects of DDS2 in that regard.

There are some exceptions, weirdly enough I kinda loved the Shakespeare episode, but the Van Gogh episode?
Maybe I'm just a dirty American but I was underwhelmed. I get the sentiments, just wasn't a fan of the execution.

Good start for the Matt Smith era, Amy Pond is easily one of the best companions to date.
No outright clunkers as usual, though I found it to be a bit less exciting, even the Weeping Angels two parter.
But the finale was great, Daleks showed up, can't wait to watch more.

I think therapy would have helped these two more than the Dragonball Z style fight it ended on, but at least this second half wasn't as repetitive as I thought it'd be
Still a mixed bag overall, leave this franchise alone, they got their happy ending (kinda).
