Very few provisions on the Constitution have a meaning as readily and definitively discernible from text and history as the Citizenship Clause. All credible evidence leads to the same place. If self-proclaimed originalists can’t get this one right, they discredit the entire project of originalism.

That’s wild! I’m in new york and we had one 4.3 earthquake a year or two ago and I was shook for days. Can a scientist explain why it’s so many? Is there a volcano or are the tectonic plates extra active? I hope everyone is okay. Keep us posted

Because republicans, but really capital, controls the narrative, right? Is it possible for a person to really be completely removed from narratives? Maybe it’s cuz I read a lot of post-modern philosophy, especially Baudrillard

Is the issue that inattentive people should be more attentive because the situation is more extreme? It seems like the only theory you need about inattentive people is that by definition they don’t pay attention regardless of the external conditions

Who cares if trump destroys the planet if voting for trump gets you into heaven? I don’t think it’s more complicated than that to understand, but fixing it requires a real almost anti-religious push, which based in American law is likely unconstitutional. This isnt that radical. It’s basic Nietzsche

I think the answer is just Jesus Christ. If you’re born believing in Jesus, you’ll believe flat earth theories, vaccine skepticism, and any anti-science/expert criticism. Any belief grounded in secularism can easily be dismissed as the devil.

I believe the Vikings offered Daniel Jones more money than Indy did, but DJ doesn’t think in pennies, he thinks in DIMES. The Vikings cap is built around a rookie QB. The Colts are ready to throw a bag at DJ that’ll have us calling him Danny DOLLARS. I think DJ won Kirk’s agent from that playoff win
