Might be an unpopular opinion with #bikedc folks but I don't think these "bikes" have any business in an office building's crowded bike room. eBikes? Sure, but not this monstrosity. The cranks are tiny!

Glad to hear that E* lives on! This news reminded me that the LNE v1.0 spec + test procedure was published 10 years ago this month. It was the first major "start to finish" project of my consulting career and features arguably my most effective PowerPoint diagram designs

I work across from the Treasury and frequently see what appears to be a dumbwaiter moving between floors inside the windows above the 15th St entrance. Does anyone know its history or what it's currently used for today?
