This isn’t the notes app post I wanted to make today on our anniversary but the vibe on the feed has really been bothering me today (and a lot lately). I feel like I might be attacked for it but I needed to say it
You'll never see me out defending terrible men. I will always believe victims because of the strength and courage it takes to come out in a world that wants to call them liars. But I think it's not a great response to go on to say all men are bad. Not because I want to defend men when a great deal of men are harmful if only by allowing this behavior to continue from their fellow men but because it reinforces this idea that men are inherently bad. Men are NOT inherently bad. Bad men CHOOSE to be bad and they get away with it because too many people let them get away with it. If we continue with this idea that men are inherently bad, then we are giving them an excuse to not better themselves. We are letting them say "I'm just a man what do you expect?" We should NOT be tolerating that behavior. Why would you ever care to improve yourself if everyone just thinks you're bad and treats you that way regardless of what you do? YES we should cut out the gross toxic men in our lives. YES we should not tolerate their predatory behavior. NO we should not act like being born with a Y chromosome inherently makes you a bad person. This is nurture, not nature. 50% of the population is not bad. Too many are but not all of them. I don't want to believe it's all of them. But they're never going to get better if we let them continue their behavior AND they're never going to get better if we act like this is some natural, unchangeable behavior. Men are not inherently bad. Women are not inherently good. We all choose who we want to be and we need to encourage each other to choose to be good. That is the only way things will ever get better for us.

It was hard with the old ones to remember so I picked one I remember being obsessed with and for the nows, if they’re a vault, I also included the top non-vault. A lot has stayed the same, with favorites staying high, but the older ones definitely changed over the years
