I wish we would stop saying “pedophile” which is the wrong word. Child rapist is the correct one. Pedophiles do have proclivities for young children but don’t necessarily abuse. Child sexual abuser or rapist covers anyone who assaults a child under 18 sexually.

Pedophile is not the right term. That is factually correct. Child sexual assault perpetrator is the correct term. The “phile” indicates a proclivity or a attraction to but not necessarily the abuse of, so I never liked that term for Epstein as he is a serial child rapist and we ought call it that
