From an editor's perspective, I can tell you the decision came down to the alliteration of it. But, "can of corn" sounds ridiculous. "Box of cereal" sounds a bit more relatable, and quite frankly -- less dull.

Home for the Holidays (1972), directed by John Llewellyn Moxey.

It is well written. It has a good cast. Who knew Sally Ford had it in her to be such a scream queen?
