Absolutely. Today I saw a clip of an anime that Amazon has dubbed with AI rather than hiring English-speaking voice actors. It's fucking atrocious, but it shows us what their endgame is - the removal of humans from creative processes.

I hated the 'just listen for the audio cue' advice everywhere. I'm deaf, I don't really rely on audio cues. I needed to be able to rely on the animation, and it didn't match up enough to be able to.
