3. The Nazi Party became much more entwined into the German government (within a few years, the party was an official component of the government) than the GOP is currently within the American government.

These factors I feel might lessen the chances of the outright outlawing of the GOP.

Maybe but the GOP currently is in quite a different context from the Nazi Party cria WWII.

1. The GOP's core policy platform, constituency, and location on the ideological spectrum has changed a lot more than the Nazi Party ever did.

2. The Nazi Party only lasted 26 years, the GOP is over 170.

I feel a large factor was that the Democratic Party was in the incumbent seat in a worldwide anti-incumbency wave. Kamala and Walz tried hard and got close but ultimately were victims to the wave.

The fact that the only thing I could think of that could improve the GOP stance is the complete out there scenario of some ostensibly left wing group (but is really just psychos trying to justify murder) going on high profile massacres of perceived political enemies says a lot.

I think that would make things worse. Vance has higher approvals now but I don't think it'll last at all. He lacks the specific charisma Trump had (which I think is key to him getting certain low propensity voters) and I doubt his ability to keep the factions of the GOP from knifing each other.

The Trump admin is going to try to use anti-trust action to halt the buyout....

just so that Paramount Skydance, led by a friendly media mongul, can buy Warner instead.
December 5, 2025 at 4:16 AM
We don't know else might be willing to buy Discovery Global or just CNN itself if Comcast and Netflix buys Warner minus Discovery.
December 4, 2025 at 9:23 PM
Yes.

It was already openly announced months ago that WBD would be splitting next year with one side being streaming (minus Discovery+), studios, HBO, and IP; the other side being cable networks, Discovery+, and most sports. This was before the buyout offers began.
December 4, 2025 at 8:48 PM
In that case, even if Netflix buys Warner, Paramount Skydance might still end up acquiring Discovery Global. However, there might be other suitors.
December 4, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Netflix isn't trying to buy CNN though. Netflix is only interested in the Warner Bros portion of the conglomerate (the IP, studios, HBO, and HBO Max). They're willing to let the Discovery Global portion of the conglomerate (which operates Discovery+, cable networks and most sports) split off.

It was a change that happened with the second season. Season 1 is quite the different show compared to everything that came after (down to even the character designs and that season being board-driven instead of script-driven).

The more pressing thing about the Animaniacs reboot is the writing. None of the writers or show runners came back to write on the reboot and, while the Pinky and Brain segments are actually quite good much of the time, the Warner Siblings are mischaracterized.

In the case of the animation, the outsourcing studios are all different than from the OG show. The outsourcing studios from the OG show are either dead, are shells of their former selves (at least in output), or have changed so much since the 90s.

The way Nvidia words it, they're adding "custom support" to these games. That and only some games being added makes me think that the PhysX change was hardware based (removing hardware that Nvidia felt was wasting space) but, since then, Nvidia created a software translator that works on some games.

It's a drug trip.

No, not in the metaphorical sense or anything. An actual bad drug trip. The cat and fish find an illegal perfume looking thing in their house (it was being sold by their criminal grandfather), try it out, and, in a drugged state of ecstasy, ship it out to their classmates.

And the film was scored by Bruce Broughton who wrote the Tiny Toon theme song and scored a number of episodes. The animated sequence sounds exactly like a 90s Ruegger or Spielberg comedy cartoon.
December 2, 2025 at 5:04 AM
Even in the OG run, I do remember a large chunk of episodes rushing their endings. It's been a consistent issue with the show for quite a while if not from day one.

The ones who die are people like Trump, those who have such a fanatical following that, even if they were put in the most max security prison, there is a chance an invading force releases them and returns them to power.
December 1, 2025 at 5:14 AM
My feeling is in general kill the least as possible. Most of the crime committers, if they do get found guilty of their crimes, have no chance of returning to power so I would say it would suffice with a max penalty of multiple lives in prison (not literally, just a technicality).
