I saw Soule Monde at The Cubby Bear in about 2013, and they were awesome. Super nice dudes as well. Weren't a whole ton of people there, so I got to char with them for a while.

Oh yeah, Big Wu and Wilco also there over 5. Fort Frances 3 times, I believe.

I'll be watching. Training my body to wake up for work starting Monday morning, so I'll be ready!

Thank you for beating me to this!!

Not technically true, but my friends hosted the last night of the bar they owned, had folks that played over the years there in the front. Let everyone else drink everything and smash the back area of the place pretty late. (Stopped before it got out of hand)

That is true, but still should have two long TDs. And then they could have moved back to a more running focused attack. (Should have been doing that anyway)

Saw them once, will not be able to catch any of the upcoming gigs, but they rip

Seen this probably 50-60 times, and I find some ever so slight nuance that I hadn't noticed before, and just compounds how much I love it

Those too! Now I absolutely need to do a run through of those movies. Maybe Creepshow, and some episodes of Tales From the Crypt as well!

Oh man, forgot about House!! That and Gremlins were in my top 10 movies when was like...6/7 🤣🤣🤣 (but I'm dead serious) Was also listening to Takes a Nation of Millions when I was 7 and a half in '88. I had a diverse pallette!

Of course, you have to take those comments with a grain of salt, bc I think Critters, Munchies and Ghoulies all rip.

It's like when I happened to catch Lucas on some random channel last month. When I was younger, I thought that movie was great. Turns out, it is not. And it absolutely broke my heart when I rewatched The Monster Squad last year. Still love it, but I couldn't believe how bad it was lol

HAHA!! I watch Planes, Trains like eight times a year, especially around now. Son In Law, I've seen numerous times. However, last year, I watched Dutch for the first time in years, and although I personally enjoyed it again, it is truly a pretty terrible film.

Jesus christ. I suppose I am very much removed from that scene now. No kids, and don't really keep tabs on nieces/nephews/cousins etc. Have some teacher friends, but hadn't heard that. Plus, school was always easy for me. Was my motivation, boredom and not giving a fuck that would hurt me.

I understand that, but I never did not have stuff assigned to me. If it was reading, I would certainly skip some of those, but like, you eventually needed to do the work and understand the material(s) to pass the class/grade

I know I haven't been in grade school in about 20 yrs, but how is homework not a thing anymore? We were still given it in grad school when I was going for my second master's before COVID...is it an AI thing?

They rule. After seeing some of Fellowship a month or so ago, I decided to start reading the trilogy again, and I am amazed after basically every page. Been like, 20 years since I read them, and I am loving it.

I came here to say this exact thing. If they take away our Biscoff cookies, I will fucking riot.

The Libby app rules. Except when I get overly excited, and borrow several books at the same time, while forgetting that I also have been waiting for 2-3 other books for weeks, and then I really put myself in a......bind. Sorry, don't have a whole lot of jokes

I watched it twice on a crappy streaming site, and fully plan on watching it again soon. It rules.
