I recall getting into Mischief now and again and the other parents calling up my mom and ratting me out. I'd come home and she would ask me what I did today and she already knew what I did today. Punishment ensued.

I agree with you. I feel like my parents couldn't wait until the training wheels were taken off the bike so we could just ride far far away until dinner time that is.
