A Red Tailed Hawk lands in the tree above my head. Looking for its next meal. Most Red-tailed Hawks are rich brown above and pale below, with a streaked belly and, on the wing underside, a dark bar between shoulder and wrist. Cooper's hawk is a medium-sized hawk native to the North American continent and found from southern Canada to Mexico. Bluish gray upper parts with a contrasting black cap and red eyes. Looked out my window and there it was in all it's glory.

Two small shore birds, Sanderlings search for food at low tide. It's a wet sandy beach, the sanderlings are brown and black with white bellies. their long beak pulls the food out of the sand Two wild turkey chicks blend into the meadow growth. They are well camouflaged Two Goldfinch's munch on sunflower seeds at eh bird feeder. They have brilliant yellow feathers with black and white wings.
