The Australasian Society for Philosophy and Psychology conference was great. Many thanks to our organisers, wonderful keynotes & big, diverse cohort of participants and ideas. And I'm very grateful to those who stopped to chat with me about how I'm thinking through case studies in psychology

We are grateful to have had @ufeest.bsky.social join for this week's HPS Seminar, where she discussed work from her new book Operationism in Psychology: An Epistemology of Exploration. A stimulating and insightful session. Thanks a lot, Uljana!

This week's HPS Seminar we had A/Prof. Kristian Camilleri present some of his work on the problematic role that the idea of “orthodoxy” and dissent play in histories of quantum mechanics (& science generally). Really great stuff. Always nice to hear from your supervisor!

A.G Hammer (1948) on clinical psychological test results, suggests "... test-makers, as well as the clinicians, should be psychologists, and not only statisticians: i.e., that tests should be framed in the light of an understanding of the mental processes likely to go on in the test-room."
