We wanted to create more opportunities for small businesses in Charlotte

So we built 7 live/work units at the bottom of our new apartments

Combining home and retail rent lowers the cost of launching a new business

100 years ago, this place was a Ford factory, manufacturing Model Ts and Model As

50 years ago, the US Army used it to produce Gama Goat vehicles and missiles

10 years ago, it was an abandoned warehouse

Today - it’s Camp North End

My day today…

8:00 - Older son’s soccer game
8:45 - Younger son’s soccer game
11:15 - Older son’s basketball game
12:00 - Classmate’s birthday party
2:15 - Take older son to CLTFC game
