I'm so tooned I'm gonna toon

I recently got it because of the same desire. It's a godsend, it's so good that I almost can't believe this exists in my hands. Rockbox really makes it. The support for this device is so robust and there's so many themes too. Did I mention it has a full graphic equalizer too? Yeah.

Oh my, I cannot speak highly enough of the Aigo Eros Q. No android (!), Rockbox custom OS (so powerful, so customizable). Metal chassis. Click wheel. Amazing sound quality. Cheaper than most. I LOVE mine SO MUCH!!

Also called "Hifiwalker H2". Same device. Got mine for 85$ on Ali.

I'm on a calorie deficit and I just had an apple with nothing else.. you can't do this to me... that thing looks phenomenal T_T

Beyerdynamic DT 270 Pro (closed, past week) & AKG K7XX (open, past decade). Quite different sounds. I used to give my tracks bad sub bass because the K7XX are great at everything except sub bass (it doesn't exist)

I've been using musicolet for years and can really vouch for it. But right now I'm transitioning to a dedicated (non android) DAP so I can get away from the magic rectangle that does everything. I think the hifiwalker H2 with Rockbox (custom OS) is a great deal

Ugh yes. Thank you for sharing. Though this feeling might persist for one's whole life, it's nice to hear the people I look up to might feel that way too!

I hope I can live a life where I never have to stop. Who knows, maybe first solo album at 88 (it will have absolutely no treble frequencies).
