I was trying to figure out why I felt so much better (mentally/emotionally) last night and I just remembered that I took an extra crumb of dried frog pills* yesterday morning. I should have done that days ago instead of resisting and feeling wretched. 😳

*brain meds, no actual frogs involved

Your inability (or unwillingness) to spend money on my books shouldn't become my problem. It shouldn't become any author's problem. For all intents and purposes, none of us are swimming in cash and we can't afford to lose sales to entitled pricks who believe they should get our labor for free. (6/)

Love to see it.
a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.

It was a good day. (Tiring, but good. Yay for progress -- and for the progress being much easier and less scary than I'd expected.)

This is so true. But the downside was that you had to leave the house to buy things a lot more often, which meant plenty of people within slapping distance...
You didn’t have to hear anybody’s opinion about literally anything unless they were within slapping distance
