The tragic thing is that National Guard personnel and the military are being used as pawns while malevolent "leaders" like Miller, Noem, Hegseth, and Trump who initiate these racist, inhumane policies are shielded from blowback for their actions.

Sounds like you’re excusing their unethical and unprofessional behavior because of the “system.” Plenty of good journalists who do not debase themselves (and endanger lives by protecting a reckless public servant) this way.
