I am so EXCITED (and honored) to be presenting at DevNexus in March 2026!!!
I'll be talking about one of my favorite coding activities: Refactoring #Java in IntelliJ IDEA! Even if you're an experienced coder, I'll bet you'll still learn a few new things to try out...

First time in a while that I've given a talk (a TED TALK as @danvega.dev reminded me!) as short as 25-minutes! Amazingly, it fit exactly and the recording will be available soon at www.commityourcode.com #CommitYourCode

Timefold will try to solve for the (hard) constraints, but if it can't find a solution, it will at least give you a solution (instead of just giving up). You can then go back to the business—maybe they need to hire folks, or maybe relax a constraint.

You can tell @garnier.wf's 2-hour deep dive session on "Spring Boot Testing" was packed full of useful tips, because I didn't have any time to post anything during the session!
I took one pic to remind me about #SpringSecurity and csrf when doing `WebMvcTest`.

Who is helping your team Level Up? Peers and line managers probably may not have the experience in technical _coaching_ and the time to do it as needed.

Where #SoftwareArchitecture might have gone wrong: treating the architect as the expensive resource and the rest as "coding monkeys" (i.e., cheap[er]), but this leads for bottlenecks, lack of deep context of individual teams. This is not a recipe for success... #DevoxxUK @einarwh.bsky.social
