Next up on the bench another mustang but a 65 this time

So here’s my version of the 1966 SHELBY GT350 mustang have gone with the Laguna Seca markings put what details I could under the hood

Nice pic here she is at rest a few days before her DDAY flight at Northweald airfield

Been a while but managed some progress on the 66 GT Shelby wheels ready engine in and wired front shocks ready and finally body work done and painted body took a while plenty of gaps and holes in the rear panel to sort as fitment wasn’t great

Currently at local town park for free music fest sunshine drinks and good vibes

So a start has been made on the 66 SHELBY GT 350 chassis suspension rear axle COBRA engine and interior

#DDAY80GB one P51 mustang with invasion stripes gone a bit rouge with the paint no idea weather a p51 with these markings took part but gone with what I had and what felt ok to me got to say this is a really nice kit from Airfix especially the way the spinner/prop just pushes on and spins freely

#DDAY80GB some more paint and weathering added to the P51 got to say this is a really nice kit from Airfix still some decals and stencils to add

#DDAY80GB stripes are the P51 some weathering to be done before adding the ordnance

#DDAY80GB progress on the mustang gone with a Aluminium base coat going to add some other silver and gunmetal panels me thinks

Howdy y’all it’s been a while but I’ve finally finished my 1955 Chevy pace car only mod is the shaved door handles and a couple of bits under the hood

Well finally got some time at the bench with the 55 still got a fair bit to do hopefully finish soon so I can jump in with hobby dudes group build 😁😁😁😁

55 Chevy bel air convertible progress chassis/front and rear suspension/rear axle prop shaft gear box and engine are in added HT-leads custom valve covers and air filter also added fuel lines etc from carb fun build so far for a revell

So the 55 convertible is under way added custom value covers and air filter and I’ve had to add a rubber tube to the dizzy as the top of it was there moulding issue may be but should work 🤔🤔🤔

So first post here this is the next build up on the bench of joy
