While not really obscure, Neuromancer and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? are two books that come to mind. Neuromancer pretty much birthed a lot of the terminology and themes that are common in cyberpunk, and the latter is the book that Blade Runner’s based on.

I love it. I'll admit if you're not all that interested in Cold War era bullshit it might be a little boring but I still recommend you give it another go.

FE4 is probably my favorite but 5 is really good too.

Agreed. I played a decent amount of Avowed and barely remember any of it, meanwhile 1st Chapter is hands down one of the best games to come out this year.
