raw data to wav in audacity, granular sampler spam (some vsts can be nice but the very basic stock one in FL often works fine enough and is very good for learning), disabling declicking on edges of samples, microsamples in general, hardclip things and bring the volume back down. and lots of reverb

if you're disclosing samples do it on your own terms. make some liner notes or a video sample breakdown of it. putting stuff on whosampled just puts you in a crosshair

not really, WWW was a reference point though (as well as vhs head, mousetrapping, and lots of different kinds of idm)
