I wrote an “Elvira Meets Godzilla” comic (in which he’s called Kingzilla, for legal reasons.) This was my favorite panel.

The series was ELVIRA IN MONSTERLAND, and the issue is titled “You Don’t Look Kaijuish.”

--but they feel the need to "show off" every skill and trick they've ever learned at all times. The best keep it simple until they need to be splashy or show off. It's what makes them memorable. But what do I know, I've only been doing this for about 15 years and teach it at the Kubert School.

Trying to be too fancy/crazy with lettering. Frankly, there is a restraint needed most of the time that a lot of newer people don't get. They think they need to throw everything and the kitchen sink each time, but that dilutes the effectiveness of it. Also, they just aren't very good with it yet--
