My mum used to say that she didn't fight with my dad, that they just had healthy discussions about disagreements and tbh there weren't many of them. They were married for over 50 years

The new medication that I've been given has the side effect of one in ten women breaking a bone. And they've given that to me, who has already broken several bones in falls and I fall down a lot. Obviously I'm not taking it.

My dad, who is 80, doesn't object to paying income taxes but he wasn't paying them 3 years ago (I think it's 3) but because the tax levels haven't changed he now is. The vast majority are only ever pro themselves and what they can squeeze out of the system, for now and for when they retire/don't get

Yep. And the fact that they won't tax the rich more, even a tiny bit and even the really rich, makes me so angry

My brain fog is such a barrier to reading a lot. I still read quite a bit but would read more. The fiction book I'm reading at the moment has a character list in the front, which is great, as I forget who people are a lot. My library delivers me books every month and I love it.

I have several chronic illnesses and am disabled and I never expected to be more worried about what a Labour government would do compared to a Tory government in that department either. They're all a bunch of absolute utter twatbastards

I'm British and I watch the NFL and I'm well aware I'm not very knowledgeable. A win is a win of course but last season a lot of Chiefs wins were one score games

Not the main point of this I know and not to make light of any issues to do with drug addiction but when I was on prescribed fentanyl patches for pain management I was fine with the fentanyl, it was the patch that was the problem - no surprise to me but Dr wouldn't believe me so I proved it!
