Bought this little guy in Dec 2018 when my wife nearly died of an eating disorder &was flown to a Denver hospital right b4 Xmas. It was our hotel xmas tree. Thought I’d lost it in an office move but found it behind my desk this wk. We still here & it’s a reminder good things can still happen.

Perusing some Avery County, NC election results last night only to realize my wife’s long lost and former stepbrother (1) was mayor of Newland and (2) lost reelection.
Also, “you couldn’t win in the mountains even if your name was Daniel Boone” feels like a very ancient political burn

Saw Wicked (the musical) last night and it was a lot of fun but gotta say that this guy remains the best character in the extended Wizard of Oz universe.
