having one DC for their checks and “AC”. I think the system has a lot of potential for people who like the idea of streamlining some TTRPG aspects in favor of storytelling, but there are still fun crunchy numbers imo. Also if you’re worried about running out of Fear as a GM… dw about it lol

I’ve had fun with it so far! The book really encourages an ebb and flow of GM moves and Player moves. The Hope and Fear mechanic lend themselves really well to GM’s who can be creative on the fly. Combat once you get the hang of it feels pretty smooth, and I’m a big fan of Adversaries (enemy NPC’s)-
