Would official war with Iran officially signal the end of American hegemony?

With American interests so scattered across the world in keeping up with China, protecting Israel, backing other dictatorships worldwide, and even dealing with domestic uprisings, how long until they are stretched too far

If regime-change is successfully implemented. How long would it last? Would we see another Shah-to-Ayatollah-like revolution soon or would the area be even more heavily militarized to prevent against it.

Will China get involved to protect regime-change efforts in Iran? Chinese interests in the area seem to be very strong but Chinese actions also seem to strive for legality and peace more so than protecting assets.

Why are Iran’s retaliations so restrained against the U.S.? They seem to prefer legal action and restrained strikes to show force.

do you have any proof that the current Bloc’s party ideals are separation or are you guessing?
April 1, 2025 at 7:40 AM
you ever wonder if the reason the Bloc exists is because they have a major wants and needs that need to be addressed in canadian politics and not just because Quebecois people don’t like anglophones???

not really, comparing the U.S. to Germany is apples and oranges. Comparing two neighbouring countries with similar enough political systems whose cultural exports impact one another often.

The American political climate has been moving towards us for a while and will continue to

Carney won’t help us, Poliverre will hurt us more, and it really feels like Singh is trapped in a bubble where mainstream media ignores him because it’s the only viable “left” we have.

It’s not looking good for this country.

they are both ideologues who serve the rich. one just dresses it up in a cover of centrist garbage while the other goes full tilt into right-wing conspiracy.
February 20, 2025 at 4:18 PM
the real question is, what will he cut? he has to get the money for this from somewhere. I wouldn’t be surprised with Carney cutting federal jobs, social spending, and infrastructure spending.

economists will always view the country like a corpo, but we need a proper country not a company.

the problem is the long-term capital investments themselves. we already have had problems with investors snatching up canadian homes and limiting canadian jobs through reliance on LMIA workers.
this is DUE to capital investors, they will not fix our country.

this is what the Americans believed in 08’, look at where we are now. “centrism” only allows the rise of the far right.
