Seriously. I reacted very poorly to a wrong against me recently. While it doesn't eliminate the triggering behavior, we (collective, not targeted) also can't always land on us being a misogynist every time a dislike for something is shared. That's not okay.

Like we literally cannot do everything right, but if we work on being better at SEEING our person, then we can keep improving. It makes it easier to wake up & choose that person every single day even if it FEELS hard in the moment. People slip, you feel your feels responsibly, then you do the work 🫶🏾

I get this idea 100%, & women deserve SO much better, but I also believe people have to stop applying the one strike rule to everything then go off about being unsupported. We need to do the work IN the relationship. You have to open & be open. Healing together always does much more good than harm.

Many of us cause harm & have no intention of doing so. It's also not one-sided, but that convo can't happen yet because it always becomes a battle of the sexes.

We too crave being sought out, desired, & deserve apologies when we share that you hurt us. Not to shift power, but because are humans.

Most of us crave vulnerability & want to be in love. Hell, I am. But beyond our vulnerability being weaponized, it also becomes harder to be forgiven for any misstep ever. We then make the list of "seven deadly exes" when all that needed to happen was a simple addressing of a behavior or language.
