I'm afraid I'm not quite so optimistic when it comes to "indications" coming to fruition, especially when the Gov't voted to ditch public & #environmental NGO's support for the recent Planning and Infrastructure Bill - Lords amendment 40 to further protect our #rivers and #wildlife.

Also shocking that the Green's new clause 29 to help Mayors support, maintain & build upon the principles of the Climate Change Act 2008 & the Environment Act 2021 for nature protection, restoration & action on pollution, wildlife and the ecosystem was denied (again) by the Labour Government & MP's.

Something needs to be done & urgently.
I get bombarded on social media with requests to "support your local shops & hospitality businesses."
I'd love to but until the cost of living crisis is resolved & those businesses are given adequate support I & many like me are unable to afford to do our bit!

I can't find anything specific to active travel/accessibility but maybe the PH at @bcpcouncil.bsky.social admin would know as I assume they must have carried out some sort of risk assessment .... Good Luck with that!

I can't find anything specific to active travel/accessibility but maybe the PH at @bcpcouncil.bsky.social admin would know as I assume they must have carried out some sort of risk assessment .... Good Luck with that!
