If it's a sub or hosted elsewhere, I treat it like it can get taken away at any point, and whatever money I put in is for the experience. If the experience alone isn't worth it, there is not point in "buying" it. Also....I miss those cool game manuals that you used to get with physical copies. 🥲

The funny thing was that I *did* own all my music. I had all the CDs, and was using iTunes to sync to my ipod. After that little incident, I stopped using iTunes. Thank god I had all the CDs, but it was a lot of time spent fixing the mess.
Hard copies is the way - especially for photos.
