Just seeking what passes for human interaction in these end times. Film geek, comic book dork, Star Trek nerd, horror movie dweeb.
Post something random or you’ll have an awful December.

Good list, I would add to the list my favorite non-Frankenstein Karloff film, The Body Snatcher.

Like, its worse this time because i know the twist is coming and I know all of this just madd up nonsense that doesn’t matter at all. At least in a more standard Jacob’s Ladder scenario, at least the people are real.

Identity.

Haven’t seen this in 22 years and I think my original assessment holds true, dumb.

Twist just does not work for me.

Would have preferred if it was ‘They’re all dead! And this rained out motel is Hell’s waiting room, populated by monsters with an appointment for ETERNITY.’

Share a ‘90s movie you think deserves more love.

Nobody’s Fool (1994).

I’m hard pressed to think of any movie that *feels* more like a novel.

Just dropped in a town of fully realized characters, floating along through their days, the depth is subtext and the charm palpable.

Would wager the character model for the first one is Rondo Hatton.

“We're so glad to see so many of you lovely people here tonight. And we would especially like to welcome all the representatives of Illinois's law enforcement community that have chosen to join us here in the Palace Hotel Ballroom at this time. We certainly hope you all enjoy the show.”
