Fight to protect Obamacare Thank you for voting no on the recent concessions. I'm relieved and grateful you did not greenlight a deal that would have rewarded Republican brinkmanship and left the Affordable Care Act vulnerable. Your refusal to capitulate shows you understand what's at stake for millions of Americans. I urge you to continue fighting to protect Obamacare and other essential programs. Now is not the time for retreat. Schumer's willingness to offer weak concessions has revealed him to be spineless and unworthy of the leadership role he holds. His actions undermined our negotiating leverage and handed political cover to the very people voters just rejected. Please stand strong against the Trump agenda. Remember that Republicans remain historically unpopular right now — public sentiment and recent elections are on our side. We should use that advantage to defend health care, working families, and democratic norms instead of conceding ground to demands that harm constituents. If our leaders won't use their authority to push for real protections, they should not hold the power to set our strategy. Schumer must be held accountable and removed from leadership if he continues to put political expediency ahead of principle. Thank you for representing our values — I hope you will keep up the fight.

At the Rigged Games, the members of the Cheating Teams—including the defendants and their co-conspirators-used card shuffling machines that were purportedly randomly shuffling the playing cards to ensure fairness (the "Rigged Shuffling Machines"). However, the Rigged Shuffling Machines were secretly altered to use concealed technology to read the cards in the deck, predict which player at the table had the best poker hand, and relay that information via interstate wires to an off-site operator (the "Operator"). The Operator then communicated that information by cellular telephone to a member of the Cheating Team seated at the Rigged Game poker tables, referred to as the "Quarterback" or "Driver," who used secret signaling to share the information with the other members of the Cheating Teams playing in the Rigged Games. The Cheating Teams used the information from the Quarterback to defraud the Victims, who believed they were playing "straight" illegal poker games. At times, the defendants also utilized other cheating technologies such as electronic poker chip trays that could secretly read cards placed on the poker table; card analyzers that utilized technology loaded onto decoy cellular telephones that could surreptitiously detect which cards were on the table; and playing cards that had markers visible only to individuals wearing specially designed contact lenses or sunglasses.

"The conditions people use acetaminophen to treat during pregnancy are far more dangerous than any theoretical risks," Fleischman said. Dr. Nathaniel DeNicola, an ob-gyn who advises ACOG on environmental health issues, says the problem with the review is that it was based on studies that were mostly poorly designed and therefore unreliable. "The studies that have claimed an association were so deeply flawed that you can't draw any conclusion," he says. Several studies, for example, relied on women's memories to determine if and how much acetaminophen they took during their pregnancy. The women were asked to recall these details weeks, months, and in some cases years after the fact, DeNicola says. "Anyone who has been asked the question, 'What did you have for lunch yesterday?' knows that you tend to misremember things, even things from the recent past," he says. Asked about the review published in August, which included his group's JAMA study, Lee says its conclusions were flawed because it was based on mostly flawed studies. "Garbage in, garbage out," he says. Correlation is also, critically, not causation, Lee says. "The example I like to give is: Eating ice cream is statistically associated with drowning. But ice cream doesn't cause you to drown." It just so happens that both the rates of eating ice cream and swimming go up in hot weather.
