For me it was seeing the movie, Downton Abbey. I'd enjoyed the TV series a lot and wondered if the movie would meet my expectations, and it did.

I bought a small amount at the bulk foods store, and it cost a fortune, so I definitely will be looking for ways to use it. I'd made that recipe before using cinnamon because I did not have any cardamon, and think that cardamon really does make a difference.

I read 10 books in November, which is my norm, 7 fiction & 3 non-fiction. I gave several a 4 out of 5, which means I enjoyed them, but they weren't special.

Love the way this gives so much info. I keep a record in a pretty journal & include date published, # of pages, my ranking out of 5, what book was about. Am going to add genre. In Nov. read 10 books, mostly fiction. Last book was Donna Leon's Backstage, Stories of a Writing Life. No book stood out.
