I'm so excited to read this! I'm working on something about The Mandalorian and found a really interesting chapter in 'The Screens of Virtual Production' about the competing brands of Disney and ILM by Sarah Thomas.

The intro to this special issue is great! It's an accessible round-up of current issues around fan studies from the the perspective of LIS. I'm so glad this symposium has been around for 5 years and can't wait for the next one in 2027!

I don't know that you'll agree with the book's characterisation of AO3, but hopefully it will be useful anyway as an example of work being done in this area.
