We rarely have any bikes around St Clair West and Spadina. Would be nice to have more staff moving bikes around, and more bikes.

Spent good part of last winter in Hackney (east London). The council’s garbage removal was a civilised affair, w/ quiet, smaller, nimble (electric?) truck and regulars who greeted me w/ a friendly nod after my first clumsy rush to get everything curbside w/ dog in tow. Regret not getting a photo.

Maybe it’s time the rotating cast of sponsors (Rogers, Sobeys, National Bank) took on the task of dignifying their role. The Canadian Open (yes, let’s call it what it is) is one of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world. And likely the only one where fans have to endure reeking porta-potties.
