Thanks! I had an art rep for fifteen years until she retired. I’ve been working towards getting a new agent ever since. This is a literary agent since I write now too. I’m so excited to have representation again.

Sorry you’re dealing with aging parents. It’s so tough. Artober is finally over. I think it was worthwhile. I also took a day off and am cooking dinner for friends. Happy Halloween 🎃

It was quite a challenge! I think I’ll take five to final art. I’ve got a couple of picture book ideas out of the challenge as well. I had fun playing around with animal characters which I don’t get to do much in my day to day illustration work.

This is the last week for SCBWI Artober. It’s harder than it looks! I’ve got a job coming in November so I’d like to get some other projects out of the way before that starts. I’m also anxiously waiting for some news.

Yeah, I think I’m in 7a now. I understand your hesitation but I might go for it because I lost a third of my dahlias in storage last winter. I’m struggling to find a cold dry place to store them.
