When people say things like that, I hear three things 1. I do not understand what "politics" means. 2. I am very privileged and therefore, I can choose to not be political. 3. I do not understand the difference between partisanship and politics.

I am not sure where I said that at all. I am responding to the comment above me which is saying that this is a Republican problem and we should call on them first and give Dems something to work with. Making one statement does not preclude other things unless stated otherwise.

NO! It is not the duty of the public to give their elected officials something to work with. Why are they in office if they do not know what to do? Where is the outrage? Where are the rallies? WHERE ARE THEY? This is their job!!!

Corporations in late-stage capitalism. Their product looks different from 50 years ago. Just coz you own or work for a Tech firm does not mean that you have progressive values or that you value other human beings.
